TWCs can efficiently convert harmful hydrocarbons (HC), carbon monoxide (CO) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the exhaust gas of gasoline vehicles into harmless water (H₂O), carbon dioxide (CO₂) and nitrogen (N₂) through oxidation-reduction reactions.

With the goal of technological innovation and the combination of production, teaching, research and application, the technology center has jointly built a joint R & D team including "Key Laboratory of vehicle exhaust pollution control in Jiangsu Province" and "enterprise academician workstation of Jiangsu Province" with domestic top scientific research institutes and universities in this field, realizing the whole process technology breakthrough from basic R & D to industrial R & D and industrialization.
